This policy explains how Diversity Technologies ("D-TECH", "we", "us"), a company registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria (RC 2698956), collects and uses personal data when you use this website. We handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA).
Who to contact
For any privacy question or request, email info@diversitytech.com.ng.
What we collect
- Enquiries: when you use our contact, quote, website proposal or invoice request forms we collect your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, business name and the details you give us about your project.
- Newsletter and job alerts: your email address (and name, if you give it) and which emails you signed up for.
- Job listings: if you post a job, we collect your company details and a contact name, email and phone number.
- Payments: payments are processed by Paystack. We receive confirmation of the payment and its reference, but we never see or store your card details.
- Technical data: our hosting provider records technical information such as IP addresses to keep the site secure. We use privacy-friendly analytics that does not use cookies or track you across websites.
- Preferences on your device: the site stores small settings in your browser, such as your light or dark theme choice, a saved draft of a form you haven't finished, and whether you've closed an announcement. These stay on your device and are not sent to us.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare quotes, proposals and invoices (steps you ask us to take before a contract).
- To deliver and support the services you buy from us (performing our contract with you).
- To send newsletters and job alerts you signed up for (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email).
- To keep the website secure and prevent abuse (our legitimate interests).
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website and our business, under agreements that require them to protect it: our hosting and security provider, our database provider, our email delivery provider, and Paystack for payments. Some of these providers may process data outside Nigeria; where they do, we rely on the safeguards the NDPA allows.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and client records only as long as we need them to respond, provide our services and meet legal and accounting requirements. Newsletter and job alert subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under the NDPA you can ask us to give you a copy of your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another provider, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email us to make a request. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
Cookies
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Our staff admin area uses a sign-in cookie that is only set for team members who log in.
Children
This website is intended for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable providers to protect your data. No system is completely secure, so please contact us straight away if you think your data has been put at risk.
